Please join me in praying for a Christian friend. She used to be a drug addict, but thankfully is now free! She is surrounded by bad influences, and thinks she needs to move away from where she is, but she is "down on her luck" money-wise. Please also pray for her, because she thinks she has a death wish. This could be something drug-related, but I don't think so. So, please join me in praying for Sherry. Thanks!

You got it. I will also show this to my wife. We will both be praying for Sherry. I remember going through all that myself. Not sure if this might help her or not. I had many druggy friends. We all lived in the same complex and partied everyday all the time day in day out.
When Jesus saved me. I tried to drink and it didn't work. For a couple of days. I still drank, but, that last time I couldn't keep it down. God took it from me. All my friends knew I was an alcoholic. They told me ahhh you'll be back in a week. We will be here for you bro.
I started reading my bible outside. People came over I talked about what I read. They freak out and ran. Literally, lol They started shutting themselves up in their homes and we hardly would ever see them. Eventually we moved out.
But, most people out there partyin. Don't want to see people reading the Word or talking about it. They see change and they can't handle it. Most won't anyway.
If she wants to hang out with them. I doubt she would do this. But, if she is serious. Tell her about this. I know it really helped me when I needed to get away from it all.
a few months later God opened the door to move. This may also be what she is going through as well. I know what it's like not to have the money to do it.
She is in our prayers, and may God bless you as well.

Dan: Thank you so much for praying! I think she is without transportation, and relying on others to help (and when she can't help them, they just leave her be). I just know she is such a new Christian, that just knowing others are praying for her will help a lot! I'll definitely keep her updated!

If you want I can spread the prayer request on some of the Bigger sites I have. It may have more impact than here right now. I see a lot of people but not to many post yet. lol
I do know how it is, and yes she is in our prayers. God bless you..
